Life in the Repair Service Control Room / Trunk test at Horsham Exchange - an amusing story about Peter

Created by Brian 5 years ago

My most vivid memory of Peter.

Barry Harwood, John Turrell and I were discussing Motor Bikes and Peter who was very tired sat on one of the spare seats at the end of the test desk and after a while we noticed he had fallen asleep.

I can't remember why but Peter often didn't sleep well, but on this particular day our Manger, Mick Horley,  came into the room unexpectedly  and saw Peter but fortunately he was a very understanding Boss so nothing was said at the time.

However this story has been recalled many times at social events and it is example Peter's charmed life.

Despite not seeing Peter for a long period of time I have often thought about him & Paula and we all missed him after he was unable to join us at a social drink & meal due to his poor health.

You will be missed Peter by a lot of family & friends gathered here at Woodvale.  We celebrate your life.  -- Brian Willis
